Every lesson combines clear beach instruction with hands-on practice in the ocean.

Surf Lesson FAQs
Do I need previous surfing experience?
No. First-time surfers are welcome. The lesson begins with safety and technique on the beach before entering the water.
Do I need to know how to swim?
Some swimming ability and basic comfort in the water are required. Tell us about any concerns when inquiring so we can recommend the most appropriate option.
What is included with the lesson?
The lesson includes your instructor, surfboard, rash guard and bottled water. The current standard and private offers also include use of the surfboard and rash guard for up to 24 hours.
What should I bring?
Bring swimwear, a towel, water and reef-safe sunscreen. Avoid applying oily products immediately before the lesson because they can make the board slippery.
When are lessons available?
The most suitable lesson time often falls in the early morning or late afternoon, depending on the tide and conditions. Send your date and we will recommend a time.
Can my family take a lesson together?
Yes. Lessons are available for families and different ages. Share the number of participants and children’s ages when you inquire.
